Have you ever send Email with attach large files. There is a big problem while you attach some Large file in your email. We can reduce File size by compress or archive to the selected file. If you are going to send some Large file you must compress or archive the files first. There are several method for compress or archive the file such as .zip, .gzip, or .rar and File Extension 7z.

We are familiar with .Zip , .gzip or .rar but 7-zip is new file extension for compress or archive the file, it's work same as normal extension. The .7z format more advance then Other method for compress, because .7z files are archives they are not likely to cause errors on their own. When we compress file using .7z extension, it's has ability for any compression, conversion, or encryption to be stacked, due to the file structure's container system. This stacking allows for a greater compression rate with a reduced risk of data loss. Some of the other advantages are the high compression rate itself, the ability to add security, the open architecture of the format, and the architecture allowing for additional compression methods to be added later.

File Extension 7z format is developed by Igor Pavlov for his 7-zip archiving tool, uses LZMA (Lempel-Ziv-Markov chain-Algorithm) compression by default, but also supports BCJ, BCJ2, BZip2, Deflate, and PPMD compression. There are many programs that support both compression and decompression of .7z files. If you are interested File Extension 7z download this program (original 7-Zip), for which the format was created, is offered as a free open source package under the GNU LGPL license. 7-zip has different versions for each operating system such as Mac, Linux, Windows, and WinCE. While you open .7z files, You may found File association errors, because of compatible archiving package is not installed on your computer. File association errors will solve after installing an appropriate File Extension 7z software package in your system.

Argh, I wish people would stop the proliferation of additional compressors. It's a pain to need uha, 7z, plus the standard zip/rar. Just give me everything as zip or rar and I'll be a happy clam!
